Plaza Mijares, located in downtown San José del Cabo, hosts the “Paseo del Arte” (Art Walk). Every Thursday between 5 pm and 9 pm, you can enjoy a display of artists showcasing their talent in the heart of the plaza. Music, paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and all kinds of local crafts are presented to the public so they can admire and purchase local art.

The Los Cabos Cortés Open is the largest international open water competition in Los Cabos, based in Playa Palmilla, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Expect its third edition on May 3, 2025.
We are excited to invite you to participate in the third edition of the Los Cabos Cortés Open 2025, an annual open water swimming competition that will take place in the beautiful Sea of Cortés in San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
You can choose from four different distances: 7 km, 5 km, 3 km, or 1.3 km. This event is aimed at amateur and professional swimmers and children, youth, and athletes of all ages and levels. Accept the challenge and swim in the waters of this unique paradise!
